THE FORGE

WHERE FIRE SHAPES FLAVOR
AND LEGENDS ARE BORN

WHAT IS THE FORGE?

Here, fire is not chaos.
It is discipline.

The Forge exists to temper — not to destroy.
Heat is measured. Balance is sworn.

Every flame born here carries purpose.
Every blade of flavor is shaped, struck, and cooled with intent.

We do not chase heat for spectacle.
We honor it for what it reveals.

This is where flavor is forged.
By hand. By fire. By oath.

LEGENDARY FLAVORS

Six flames. Six legends. Each forged with purpose.

THE SAGAS OF THE SIX FLAMES

Every bottle carries a legend. Below, you’ll find the stories, ingredients, and best uses for each flame forged in the Forge.

THE FIRST FLAME OF SPRING

When winter bound the world in iron chains, Freyr walked the frozen fields with the sun rising at his back. In his open hand burned a single golden ember — not a weapon, but a promise carried through the cold.

Where it fell, ice loosened its grip. Soil warmed beneath the snow. Roots remembered their strength, and life pressed upward through the frost. Freyr did not scorch the land; he restored it.

Before he turned away, he left that flame behind — a heat to be tended, shared, and trusted. A fire that rewarded patience and balance.

That ember became Freyr’s Fire — clean, welcoming, and forged for growth rather than war.

FORGED FROM

Jalapeño peppers, sweet onion, green bell pepper, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, pineapple
White wine vinegar, garlic, honey, olive oil, sea salt, ground cumin, ground turmeric

FLAVOR PROFILE

  • Crisp, fresh jalapeño heat — medium and welcoming

  • Bright lime and pineapple “sunshine” sweetness

  • Warm cumin and turmeric forming a harvest-spice backbone

  • Clean, lingering finish that invites another taste

USES – WHERE THE FLAME FALLS

  • Laid upon grilled chicken or pork to claim a sun-forged glaze

  • Cast over roasted roots and vegetables to awaken the harvest

  • Mixed into grain bowls and greens to turn restraint into resolve

  • A gateway flame — bold enough to be remembered, disciplined enough to be shared

THE SERPENT’S FLAME

It is said Loki once wagered with Jörmungandr — not over strength, but deception. Loki claimed he could craft a flame that smiled before it struck.

Green embers were mixed with lime, apple, smoke, and mischief itself. The first taste welcomed, bright and easy. The second coiled tight and bit, sharp as fangs beneath silk.

Those who lingered learned too late: this flame does not warn, nor does it play fair. It burns by its own rules.

Thus was born Loki’s Trickster Heat — playful at first, cunningly sharp after, and never quite finished with you.

FORGED FROM

Serrano peppers, apple cider vinegar, onion, lime juice, green apple, honey, garlic, olive oil, sea salt, smoked paprika, ground coriander, matcha.

  • Worked into marinades for chicken, pork, or skirt steak — subtle at first, sharp by the end

  • Swirled into mayo or crema to create a “harmless” sauce no one sees coming

  • Best used where guests underestimate green sauces — and learn quickly

Fire of the Sun-Chaser

Each dawn, the great wolf Sköll rises to chase the sun across the sky. With burning paws he runs the heavens, snapping at the light that forever escapes him. From his stride fall sparks — violet, gold, and shadow-black where they land.

Fruit darkens beneath their touch. Smoke deepens. Sweetness grows heavy, and heat turns fierce and patient. The chase leaves its mark.

From that endless pursuit comes Sköll’s Wrath — blackberry darkness bound to scorpion fire, rich and merciless as the hunt itself.

This flame does not retreat.
It runs you down.

The Fire That Watches

Odin’s fire is not struck in haste. It is gathered from long roads walked, from smoke-darkened halls, and from truths paid for in blood and silence. It burns low and steady — a flame that watches before it acts.

This is the fire of the Allfather, shaped by patience and sharpened by memory. It does not shout its strength. It waits, testing the unwary, revealing itself only after the tongue has committed.

Those who rush it find only heat.
Those who respect it find wisdom.

This is Odin’s Ember — a knowing flame, forged in smoke and carried by those who understand when to wait.

The Law of Flame

From the hand of sacrifice comes the bite of justice. When Fenrir was bound, Týr did not turn away, knowing the cost of honor and paying it without complaint.

His flame is forged in that same spirit — bold, truthful, and unwavering. It strikes clean, holds balance, and does not bend for excess or fear.

There is no trickery here. No indulgence. Only resolve, measured and exact.

Fire at the End of All Things

From the burning realm of Muspelheim comes Surtr, the fire giant whose grin heralds the end of days. When he steps forward, the sky cracks and the world burns — not in rage, but in certainty.

His fire does not warn. It builds, it spreads, and it consumes until resistance is meaningless. Smoke thickens. Sweetness darkens. Heat rises fast and refuses mercy.

This is not a flame to test.
It is a flame to unleash.

This is Surtr’s Grin — searing, smoky, and relentless, laughing as it takes hold.

MEET THE WOLVES OF THE NORTH

Where the Craft of M&M’s Preserved Perfection Meets the Legends of Flames of the North

Long before the first bottle was sealed, M&M’s Preserved Perfection was forged with a single purpose — to honor the old ways. Real ingredients. Patient hands. Fire respected, not rushed. This is the hearthfire of our craft, where tradition and flavor are bound together like iron and runestone.

From that forge rose a new legend: Flames of the North.

Born of smoke, embers, and Norse myth, this line carries the spirit of ancient stories — the wolves, the gods, and the fires that shape the Nine Realms. Each sauce is its own saga, forged with intent and bound to the powers that walk the old tales.

Freyr’s promise of growth.
Loki’s cunning smile.
Sköll’s endless hunt.
Odin’s watchful wisdom.
Týr’s unwavering justice.
Surtr’s fire at the end of all things.

Each bottle carries more than heat — it carries a story meant to be shared at the modern feast hall.

M&M’s Preserved Perfection is the craftsman.
Flames of the North is the legend born from the fire.

Together, we honor what came before while forging unforgettable flavors for those who still gather around the flame.

WHAT THE FLAME LEFT BEHIND

Where Flames Are Shared, Tasted, and Celebrated

THE FIRE REMAINS

When the feast is finished and the hall grows quiet,
the flame does not die.

It settles into stone and timber,
into iron marked by time and smoke,
into the hands that carried it
and the names spoken beside the fire.

It waits —
to be shared,
to be tasted,
to be lit again.

Until the North gathers once more.
